Rollover crash in Ely Township

ELY TOWNSHIP -- Police were called to a rollover accident in Ely Township Tuesday. It happened at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of US-41 and Wawanowin Road.

An eastbound car, driven by Debbi Brooks of Champion, was struck by a vehicle driven by Morgan Blewett of Ishpeming, who was trying to cross US-41.

The collision caused the car driven by Brooks to flip over on its roof. No injures were reported. Blewett was cited for failure to yield.
