IRON RIVER TOWNSHIP -- Three people were taken to the hospital Friday after a pickup truck collided with a logging truck in Iron River Township.  The accident happened at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Gibbs City Road.

The Iron County Sheriff's Office says a pickup truck driven by 30-year-old Adam Siebeck of Sherwood, Wisconsin was southbound on Gibbs City Road when he ran a stop sign and crashed into the side of the logging truck.  Both vehicles overturned.

Siebeck, his passenger, 32-year-old Eric Rowney of Pewaukee, Wisconsin and the logging truck driver, 21-year-old Andrew Pestka of 0ntonagon were all taken to Northstar Hospital in Iron River for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation, but authorities believe Siebeck was driving under the influence of alcohol.
