Vehicles broken into in Marquette Township

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- Police are investigating a number of thefts and damaged vehicles off County Road 550 in Marquette Township. The thefts occurred in the Wetmore Landing, Sugarloaf Mountain, Little Presque Isle, and Harlow Lake areas.

Windows were broken out in several vehicles and money was stolen. It happened the weekend of May 12 and 13. Anyone who has information on the crimes is asked to call the State Police in Negaunee at (906) 475-9922.
