ISHPEMING -- In an effort to help a good cause, two men took off bright and early Sunday morning on a five-day hike.  Kevin Kukla and his brother left the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming for the fourth annual "Hike for Tykes".

They headed on a tour of the wilderness, all the way to Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay.  In the three years they've been hiking, they've raised more than $10,000 for Bay Cliff, and they say the hike is well worth it.

This time they raised an additional $5,000.

"It's for a good cause. They do awesome stuff--help out kids with disabilities and adults as well, polio survivors--so they need help and we're ready to do it," said Kukla.

The hikers plan to arrive at Bay Cliff on May 18 at noon for a lunch.
