It was the annual Mother's Day breakfast buffet at the Lions Club

ROCK -- Many in Rock decided to celebrate Mother's Day with a full belly.

It was the annual Mother's Day breakfast buffet at the Lions Club. Dozens of families came to enjoy a full spread of breakfast items prepared by members of the Lions Club. Admission was $8 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for children ages five and under.

The Lions Club holds a breakfast on the second Sunday of every month, but the tradition started on Mother's Day two years ago, and it has grown in popularity since.

"We were really super busy this morning right at the beginning, and that's nice," said Kathy Wojda, the event's chairwoman.

More than 100 people stopped by. Money raised will be used to help the community.
