Temperatures and sky conditions should be about the same Sunday as they were on Saturday. As high pressure continues to dominate the Great Lakes and Midwest, expect lots of sunshine for Sunday. Highs will be in the 60s, but it could get over 70 toward the Wisconsin line. Winds should be breezy out of the southwest.

However, unlike Saturday, the air is drier and the winds are stronger. With gusts that could be around 20 mph and higher (mainly west), the National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings for the western U.P. Conditions are also a bit favorable for fires on the east end. Warnings expire by 8 p.m. ET.

Sunday night will remain mild thanks to that southwest wind. Lows should remain in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will lighten up and skies should remain mostly clear.

Monday's highs will be a bit warmer in the upper 60s and low 70s. Skies will again be mostly sunny, but winds will be a bit more light and variable with incoming low pressure from our our north.

Monday night will be mild as well. Lows will only fall into the mid and upper 40s, but there may be a few more clouds.

Expect a bigger change to the weather on Tuesday with a passing cold front in the day. Light rain is likely with the front moving west to east. Things should clear up in time for Wednesday. Wednesday's highs will be much more seasonal in the low 60s.

Be aware that there may be some aurora activity over the next day or two courtesy of a very active sunspot. This website will have more details.
