MARQUETTE -- NMU nursing students had their ceremonial pinning Friday afternoon.

Around 40 nursing students and their family members filled Jamrich Hall on Friday where the LPN graduates were awarded their nursing pins. Faculty members and students addressed the graduating class where they congratulated the new nurses on their success. The nursing students were able to choose who they wanted to present their pins, and most chose their family members.

The students also wrote 'Thank You' notes to their parents and friends for supporting them throughout the program.
