We may not have seen much in the way of thunder over this past week, but we did see some rain. We have more of that in our forecast, but probably not any thunder.
We'll see lots of clouds Saturday with some peaks of sunshine. There may be a few showers mixed in, especially in the southern UP. Highs will relatively seasonal in the mid 50s, cooler near the lakes.
Saturday night will see some clearing, but not much. Lows will be falling to around 40. Winds will lighten up. Late Saturday night into early Sunday may see some rain developing west with incoming low pressure as well as an increase in cloud cover.
Sunday will see plenty of rain developing west to east throughout the morning and afternoon. Rain could potentially be heavy at times. Highs will mainly be in the low to mid 50s.
Sunday night will see that rain continuing overnight. Lows will fall be slightly less cold than Saturday with temps falling into the low 40s. As winds shift a bit more southerly, conditions will be a bit more mild.
Rain will continue into Monday and Monday night, but it will be less heavy. Scattered rain may also be seen on Tuesday. Temperatures for the next few days look seasonal and colder until closer to next weekend where it may warm up a bit into the 60s.
Unfortunately, the cloudy weekend will diminish any chances of seeing the Super Moon or the Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower, but if you see anything, be sure to take a picture and send it to our website. Otherwise you can always find me on Facebook.
