HARVEY -- Teaching Family Homes in Harvey is recognizing National Child Abuse Prevention month with a forget me not garden.  Supporters and some residents were on hand for a ceremony Monday in which blue and white forget me not bulbs were planted, the goal being to remember the victims of child abuse and neglect.

"These flowers are going to be a wonderful addition with a little bit of color with the blue and white color, too. So hopefully they'll be blooming fairly soon if we get a little bit more warm weather, and I would hope by the summer they will be in full bloom," said Rich Rossway of Teaching Family Homes.

Although the ceremony was Monday, Teaching Family Homes is hoping the community will continue to show its support and plant bulbs during the spring and summer.  For more information on Teaching Family Homes, click here.
