Around 3:45 p.m. the driver of a black four-door Sedan was turning left out of the Holiday gas station when she struck the side of a truck that was eastbound on US-41, police said

ISHPEMING -- A two-vehicle accident on US-41 in Ishpeming caused minor injuries for one motorist Friday afternoon.

Around 3:45 p.m. the driver of a black four-door sedan was turning left out of the Holiday gas station when she struck the side of a truck that was eastbound on US-41, police said. The driver of the truck attempted to swerve to avoid the black car but was unsuccessful. No one was hospitalized.

Ishpeming police and fire officials were able to clean up the scene within 15 minutes.
