MARQUETTE -- Years of hard work by Northern Michigan University art and design graduating seniors is on display at the Devos Art Museum.  The exhibit is the culmination of the students' time at NMU and includes works from all areas of the School of Art and Design.  The exhibit is called Some Assembly Required, and the students use this as a chance to make sure their best work is on display.

"This is really an opportunity to see, I think, some great work from the School of Art and Design and there's a lot of it, but it's kind of laid out in such a way that it's a nice way to experience each and every students' work," said Peter Copenhaver, a senior at NMU.

The work of 60 students is in this show and includes human centered design, sculpture and woodworking.  The display will be at the Devos Art Museum until May 4, with a closing reception from 7 to 9 p.m.
