Cell service restored

SCHOOLCRAFT COUNTY -- The phone outage in Schoolcraft County and a portion of Delta County has been fixed.

The fiber optic cable was damaged near Cooks. The Michigan State Police have been asked to investigate the area, as the damages to the line led the repair crews to believe the cable may have been intentionally tampered with.

Again, the phone issues have been resolved.
