CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP -- The flow of traffic along US-41 in Harvey was briefly interrupted Tuesday morning when a driver blew through a red light and struck another car.

The crash happened at the intersection of US-41 and M-28 in Chocolay Township around 10:15 a.m.

Police cited 42-year-old Susan Van Buren, who was traveling northbound on US-41, with running the red light.   Van Buren's vehicle crashed into a car driven by 60-year-old Sharlene Worden who was heading eastbound on M-28.
