HOUGHTON -- Michigan has the second worst roads in the country.
Representatives for students reinventing Michigan are holding meetings throughout the Upper Peninsula to discuss Michigan’s Roads and bridges.
Last year students found that Michigan’s transportation infrastructure is crumbling and roads and bridges have been neglected for many years due to inadequate funding.
“A good infrastructure is critical to a good economy. We need to move goods and services safely and provide services adequately and a poor infrastructure doesn’t allow for that,” said Students Reinventing Michigan President Jim Shea.
A $100 gas certificate is one of the prizes you could win for attending the event.
