CHANNING -- One Catholic church celebrated a birthday on Sunday in addition to their Easter service.
At the end of the Easter service, St. Rose Catholic Church in Channing wished a happy birthday to 93-year-old Mary Rassmussen. They say Mary is a model senior citizen who often volunteers her time to the community.
Mary was also honored by her niece's husband, Michael, who designs street signs out of Muskego, Wisconsin. He says he owes his thriving business to her constant support and encouragement since 1984.
He has named a line of products after her to be sold worldwide.
"She has done so much for us, not through money, but through prayer, through support, and that's why we named this line. It's called "Just Mary" for the world to see," said Michael Piasini-Klis.
Mary received the first sign in the "Just Mary" line as a gift.
