IRON MOUNTAIN -- A Norway resident charged with criminal sexual conduct involving an incapacitated victim was sent to prison Tuesday.

Jeffrey Lynn Stack, pled guilty to one charge of criminal sexual conduct.

Judge Mary Barglind received letters in support of Stack which didn't sway her sentence.  Barglind says she's shocked at the nature of the crime committed against the mentally disabled victim.

"I am hereby ordering Mr.Stack to be sentenced to the Michigan Department of Corrections for a minimum period of three years and four months," said Barglind.

Stack could receive a maximum of 15 years in prison and recommended he receive treatment for sexually deviant behavior while serving his sentence.
