IRON MOUNTAIN -- Teachers and community members gathered at Iron Mountain High School last night to begin training for a campaign against the sudden spike of Spice, a legal synthetic drug substance

The Reality Tour is a volunteer-driven program that will be presented to parents and children about substance abuse and the path to prevention.  Children and parents will be invited to follow a fictitious teen addicted to drugs and the downward spiral that comes after.

"Our goal from the beginning has been education. this is a big undertaking and it has taken a lot of people to get us this far but I think we're all in the same mindset that if it makes a difference in one person's life it's all been worth it," said IMHS Principal Maryann Boddy.

All of the volunteers are motivated in hopes that the Reality Tour will retaliate against the rising drug use amongst teens.
