MARQUETTE -- The Berry Events Center will be filled with skaters this Saturday. The Marquette figure skating club presents Melody on Ice. The theme of this years show is "Color Your World" and skaters will be showing off their talents in colorful costumes. The skaters have been rehearsing for the show for about 3 weeks.
"Tonight is our dress rehearsal so we're going to get a really good idea and a rundown of how long the show is going to be, we're expecting it to be about under two hours and it should be fun to come out and support your local skaters," said Jamie Weigold, ice show director.
About 100 skaters will be participating in Saturday's show and they range in age from 3 to 27. The show runs twice on Saturday, first at 2 pm and then again at 7pm. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $9 for students and senior citizens.
