HOUGHTON -- A 25-year-old Lake Linden man, charged with three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of second degree criminal sexual conduct, was in Houghton County District Court on Wednesday.

Robert Moilanen was in court regarding an alleged crime that happened over the course of three years, when the 15-year-old victim was around five years old.  The victim did testify against Moilanen in court and said she was reluctant to come forward but decided it was the right thing to do in hopes that the events would not happen to another individual.

Moilanen's case has been bound over to Circuit Court.
