MACOMB COUNTY (AP) -- A sheriff took one of his sons and three other people, who had been drinking, home from a party in southeast Michigan after his deputies responded to a complaint about an unwanted guest.

The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens reports Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham was called to the Macomb Township home late Saturday by one of the deputies. Sheriff's Capt. Brenda Baker says the sheriff's son and the others briefly argued with deputies at the scene.

Baker says no crimes were committed and no arrests were made.  Baker says the sheriff's son and his friends all were of legal drinking age.

Baker said she answered inquiries about the response on behalf of the sheriff since a relative was involved.  She says there was no special treatment involved.
