MARQUETTE -- Models strutted their stuff on the runway at Project Compassion's fashion show at Northern Michigan University on Sunday.

This fashion show is raising money for kids in Camp Star. The kids are all under the age of 16 and have lost a loved one. Kohl's, JC Penney, and Younkers donated the clothing for the runway.

"I'm really excited, I'm really nervous; we've been working on this for the whole semester, and I'm just really glad to see that everyone's coming out, and it means a lot that everyone's showing their support for PRSSA and Camp Star," said Lindsay LaBerge, a coach.

The money raised at the fashion show will go to providing a three-day event where kids can explore and deal with locked up feelings.
