ESCANABA -- Handmade products from about 70 vendors are on display in Escanaba this weekend for the TV6 Spring Craft Show.
It's a unique opportunity for local artisans to get their goods out in the community, but it also provides a chance for local organizations to raise money. Delta County 4H works the concession counter and says the craft show helps them fund programs that may help keep alive the techniques used to create the goods on sale this weekend.
"So far it looks pretty good. Last night we did good, and hopefully the numbers are up with the weather being the way it is. It's little nicer so maybe people will come down," said Club Leader Kari Kristen.
The show will run Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Escanaba Fairgrounds. Admission is just one dollar.
