Sex crime suspect strikes plea agreement

DICKINSON COUNTY -- A trial in Dickinson County was cut short after the defendant made a plea.

The Dickinson County Prosecutor's Office reported that 45-year-old Randy Lee Anderson was on trial for third degree criminal sexual conduct, allowing a minor to consume alcohol, and third offense habitual offender.

His jury trial started on Monday and was scheduled to last all week.

On Tuesday morning Anderson entered a no contest plea to the CSC charge as part of a plea agreement.  His sentencing is set for April 30.
