ESCANABA -- The Northern Lights YMCA Delta Center is hosting their '70s themed YMCA party on Saturday, March 10 at the Island Resort and Casino.

The event benefits the Strong Kids Campaign.  The goal this year is $105,000.

Organizers expect to meet that goal.  In fact, $80,000 has been raised so far.

The $35 tickets are available from staff or board members, at the YMCA, or at the door.  Organizers say come as you are, and help out the campaign.

"We provide scholarships to individuals, youth, and special needs," said HR Fund Development Coordinator Mary Gauthier.   "We don't want to not give someone the opportunity to come over to the YMCA.  So basically, our mission is no one is turned away for their inability to pay."

Organizers expect to raise anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000.  The campaign ends in about three weeks.
