ISHPEMING -- The Michigan Snowmobile Association held their 2012 Groomer Workshop today in Ishpeming. The event was hosted at the Country Village.
MSA members and vendors a chance to look at the latest grooming equipment for snowmobile trails.
The event also gave snowmobilers a chance to reflect on the unseasonably warm winter, and the affects Mother Nature has had on the industry.
"It's been terrible, it's been a terrible winter not only for snowmobile sales from the dealers, right on to the users," said Bill Manson, Executive Director of the MSA. "It's been devestating for some of the towns not having snowmobilers up here spending their money."
The MSA holds this workshop all around the state, but organizers say they were quite happy to come Ishpeming where there actually was snow on the ground.
