MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Marquette County residents spent the early part of Thursday digging themselves out of the mess the storm system dumped on them during Wednesday's storm.

The Negaunee and Ishpeming area got between seven and nine inches of the heavy, wet, snow, with Marquette only getting four inches.

Low visibility and slick driving conditions in some areas had early morning commuters taking to the streets with extra care.

The late February storm system delighted snowmobilers in the area who were out in full force enjoying the snow while it lasts during the this mild winter.
