ISHPEMING -- February is wellness month, and students from Negaunee's Lakeview Elementary School had fun participating in physical activities.

Three kindergarten classes made a visit to Country Lanes in Ishpeming for a chance to roll strikes.  About 75 students were grouped in bowling lanes with other students.

The whole idea is to get students active, especially in the winter.

"It's super fun, and it's great to exercise," said Hailey Nelson of her bowling experience.

Students of other grade levels will also be joining the fun. They'll take a trip to either ice skate or swim.
