GWINN -- The Gwinn man who escaped police custody was back in court on Monday afternoon.

Troy Luoma sat before a judge in district court beside his court appointed attorney and pled guilty to a count of domestic violence and escaping lawful custody.

Luoma also pled guilty to a count of contempt of court and was sentenced on that charge immediately; he was sentenced to 300 days in jail, some of which he has already served.

Luoma addressed the court and expressed his regret.  Further court dates are needed to determine the sentencing on the charges of domestic violence.
