MARQUETTE -- Skiers and snowboarders rail jammed for more than just fun.

The fifth annual Jam For Love was Saturday at Marquette Mountain. Jam For Love is a rail jam organized by the Public Relations Student Society of America out of Northern Michigan University. Registration was $15. Raffle tickets were also available for purchase for items donated from local businesses. The organization donates the proceeds to a different organization every year.

This year they donate to the Upper Peninsula Children's Bereavement Network in support of Camp Star.

"We're really excited for this year's event, and we've been working on it since basically school started in September," said Brandon Frisk, member of PRSSA.
