All of the proceeds from the event will be donated

The Copper Country Old Timer's Hockey League will host a benefit hockey game Saturday evening. All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to league member Buster Roberts whose wife was injured while running and Dennis Sten who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

The grand prize raffle will feature four Red Wing vs. Hurricanes hockey tickets.

"We have a lot of events planned including a 50/50 raffle. We have a chuck a puck going on, we also have a lot on sale for our silent auction. There's going to be two separate teams, there's going to be a 45 and over group that skates for the first two periods, 20 minute stop, and then there will be a 30 and over team," said Jeff Mikesch of the Old Timer's league.

Members of the league said they are very thankful for the local community's support as well as the Marquette area businesses who have contributed to this event. Admission is $5 and it starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Houghton County Arena in Hancock.
