Man sentenced to prison after B&E

ESCANABA -- An Escanaba man, who broke into the Delta County Landfill three times, was sentenced to prison Thursday.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jamie Lee Liberty was sentenced to 2 years 10 months to 20 years behind bars.
    
He was sentenced as a habitual offender, third offense, on two charges.  They are breaking and entering a building with intent and attempted safe-breaking.
    
According to police, the safe contained around $1,200.
    
They were able to catch Liberty, thanks to surveillance cameras.
    
Liberty was arrested on October 8.
