MARQUETTE -- The Friends of the Peter White Public Library are helping residents stock up on winter reading with the semi annual Used Book Sale on Thursday.

From 6 to 9 p.m., the presale event is underway.  Admission is five dollars at the door, and all proceeds go to help support the library programs and collections.

It's not just used books that will be on sale.  There will be a range of other materials as well.

"We have a wide selection of items that are going to be for sale," said Duncan Davis, Administrative Assistant.  "We have CDs, DVDs, records, magazines, books for all ages, and then we also have non-fiction books as well."

The sale continues until Sunday, January 22, with a special bag sale that night, where you can fill up a grocery bag with books and pay just three dollars.

For more information on the book sale, check out the Peter White Public Library website.
