CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP -- Children at Teaching Family Homes had the chance to show off their acting and musical talents Wednesday.
Children of all ages participated in the Christmas show. The performance was part of Teaching Family Homes' monthly community day.
Set in the U.P., their play was a modern take on the story of the birth of Christ. In between scenes, children sang Christmas songs and played musical instruments.
Organizers say the event is an opportunity to get everyone in the holiday spirit while teaching participants about the value of teamwork.
