MARQUETTE -- This year marked the 29th year that the Marquette Board of Light and Power has hosted the Christmas Lighting and Decorating contest. The winners were announced on Thursday evening.
The winning locations are either in or just outside of Marquette.
The displays are seen as a life-sized Christmas card, according to coordinators. Many of the displays are constructed beginning in September.
