NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- The spay and neuter express clinic has made its way back to the U.P.

Parked right behind the Tractor Supply store off of US-41, the pet specialists at the mobile veterinary clinic have been busy treating animals in Marquette since Monday morning.

The mobile vet owners want to travel around Michigan because they said kennels are very overcrowded, and they're trying to do their part to help.

"We heard they had a good reputation, and the cost was reasonable, and we didn't have to drive too far," said clinic customer, Pamela Schroeder.

The mobile hospital is based in Grand Rapids and travels throughout the state performing surgeries and testings and vaccinating pets.

The clinic will be in Marquette Tuesday and will continue travelling throughout the U.P. for the rest of week.
