MARQUETTE -- A group of Marquette young professionals is looking to lend a helping hand to those in need this holiday season.

'40 Below' is an organization of working professionals aged 20 to 40.  Until now, the group functioned solely as a networking society, but this season they're branching out.

They've adopted a family in need and will be hosting a drive called "The Gift of Giving" to provide food and holiday gifts.

"Our group is primarily focused on getting together and networking within ourselves; we haven't really had that give back aspect.  We thought this is something that we can tackle to see if there would be more things we do to help better our community," said 40 Below representative, Lindsay Hemmila.

The group will be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday to collect and wrap gifts for the family.

Buffalo Wild Wings will sponsor the event and provide appetizers.
