The bazaar is held every first weekend of December at Redemeer Lutheran Church in Marquette.

MARQUETTE -- Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marquette held its annual Christmas Bazaar early Saturday. The event is looked forward to by many members of the community.

After extensive planning and setting up, the women of the church were successful in hosting the bazaar.

"We're having our annual Christmas Bazaar; We've had it many years here, and we're having a great response, as always, to our sale," Donna Fegan, director of Women's Ministry, said.

There was a wide selection of holiday items for gifts or decorations. Tables were full of homemade crafts and baked goods. Lunch made sure no one went hungry. The proceeds go to funding church ministries, mission trips, and other areas to benefit the congregation and community.

The bazaar is held every first weekend of December.
