The slideshow was featured at the Iron Industry Museum.

NEGAUNEE TWP -- History enthusiasts were in for a treat on Saturday at the Iron Industry Museum. The museum featured a slideshow presentation entitled the World of Occupations in 3-D.

The slideshow features 100-year-old photographs that have been made into 3-D. The museum has had similar shows in the past. Saturday's show brought the 20th century workplace to life.

"If you really like history, this is the closest thing to being there because you're seeing the three-dimensional shots of the mines, the cliffs, what people did, the cars, the trains, all in 3-D," Jack Deo, of Superiorview Photography, said.

The presentation educates viewers on the history of 3-D technology. 3-D capture devices were on display, from oldest to most modern. Deo plans to revisit the museum for more displays in the future.
