Car hits bus with kids on board

NEGAUNEE -- A car collided with a Negaunee school bus with 30 kids on board Thursday morning.

Fifty-year-old Wayne Thomas Howard of Skandia lost control of his vehicle as he was driving west on County Road 480. His car rear ended the school bus.

No injuries were reported according to authorities.

Howard was given a violation of basic speed citation for driving too fast for the roadway's slippery and icy conditions.
