MARQUETTE COUNTY -- The reward is increasing for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for last Friday's bomb threats in the Marquette area.  It's now $1,850.

Businesses within the community are working with the Mining Journal to offer the reward.  It's expected to increase as more businesses donate money.

Several stores throughout the Marquette area were evacuated after bomb threats were phoned in on Black Friday.

Police did not find any devices in the buildings.  Police are now looking at phone records to determine where the calls came from.

"Hopefully the reward will give some incentive or someone to come forward. It was an impact, no matter how large the business was, for that short time span that it was disrupted. But you know, these businesses rely on this every year," said Captain David Lemire of the Marquette County Sheriff's Department.

Police urge anyone with information to contact them.
