Friends of the Library, along with other volunteers, teamed up to prepare for the annual Winter Wonderland Walk

MARQUETTE -- The Christmas cheer is everywhere, including the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.

Once again, Friends of the Library, along with other volunteers, teamed up to prepare for the annual Winter Wonderland Walk. Dozens of Christmas trees are being assembled at the library.  They will be decorated by various organizations and community members and students from local elementary schools.

"Kids always like decorating and, of course, many of them have made the decorations themselves, and so they get to come in and they put it up on the tree, and the whole community can see their work, and it's a little bit of fun for them to come out and to do that together," said Claire Rose, a volunteer.

The Christmas trees will be on display at the library starting Dec. 4.
