MARQUETTE -- A Marquette businessman is doing his part to spread a little holiday cheer this Thanksgiving.

Bryan French, owner of Aubree's Pizza in Marquette, has been busy prepping this year's Thanksgiving day feast for St. Mark's church in Marquette.

Although he's been preparing as much as he can, most of the meal will be cooked Thanksgiving morning starting at 4 a.m.

The meal will consist of traditional fare, such as green been casserole, sweet potatoes and over 150 pounds of turkey.

This is the 5th year French has participated in the making of the meal and he says he understands why it is so important.

"Well, I like to give back to my community and you know, quite honestly I don't have any family in town and truly it's a great way, you know, I'm spending it with some great people," said French.

The St. Mark's Thanksgiving meal will be served at 1 p.m.
