ISHPEMING -- U.P. residents could get their hands on a brand new iPad 2 simply by helping to feed a hungry neighbor.
Upper Peninsula Home Health and Hospice in Ishpeming is giving away an iPad 2 in a drawing during the TV6 Canathon. All you have to do is bring three non-perishable items and enter your name into the drawing.
The employees of U.P. Home Health and Hospice got the idea to give away an iPad when they were using their own devices in their workplace. They say this is a great way to remind people to help their community.
"There's very few of us that have to go a day without eating, and that's something that's kind of foreign to everybody, and I think we all just need a nudge sometimes to do the right thing and a reminder of how important this is," said Executive Director, Jeff Nyquist.
You have until November 30 to enter to win the iPad 2.
