MARQUETTE -- A three-vehicle accident in downtown Marquette sent one person to the hospital and another to jail Saturday evening.

A 55-year-old man was driving his Toyota pickup northbound on Front Street when he crossed over the southbound lane while making a turn on Hampton Street, Marquette police said. He struck a Volkswagen.

Then, a second vehicle, a Chevy, struck the Volkswagen. A 20-year-old woman was transported to Marquette General Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Toyota pickup was arrested for operating while intoxicated and for two weapon violations.
