Children and their families in Ishpeming learned about how to care for their books Saturday. Carnegie Public Library hosts a weekly story hour and puppet show. Saturday's called a Feast of Books to be Thankful For. Children and their families enjoyed a puppet show with a special theme.

"Some of the kids at the Birchview School have rewritten the play Hansel and Gretel, and it's called Hansel and Gretel Meet the Library Dragon, or Feastival of Books, and we had a puppet show that told us a little bit about libraries and about how to take care of books," said Sue Danielson, the Children's Librarian.

After the show, the kids played and made pictures of themselves. The drawings will be hung up on the book shelves to ward off anyone who would not take good care of a book.
