Abracadabra Arcade Jumps provided 17 of their fleet of more than 70 bounce houses and inflatable games for 'Bounce-O-Rama'

HOUGHTON -- As the official start of deer hunting season draws near, the Michigan Technological University preschool program aimed to give kids something a little different to hunt for:  the perfect inflatable playground.

Abracadabra Arcade Jumps provided 17 of their fleet of more than 70 bounce houses and inflatable games for 'Bounce-O-Rama.'  It's a first-of-its-kind fundraiser for the preschool program.

The school receives its funding solely through tuition and parent funding.  In tough economic times, organizers hold fundraisers like this one to support the school.

"We're always looking for ways to keep our tuition low and still be able to give our staff raisers and things like that, always looking outside the box," said Ryan Towles, member of the board of officers.

Several university students volunteered their time to make the fundraiser possible.
