NEGAUNEE -- People in Negaunee honored those who gave their lives for our country on Friday.  Members of the VFW Post in Negaunee held a Veteran's Day service at Veteran's Memorial Park outside of City Hall.

The group recited the Pledge of Allegiance and read the names of those who died in each war.  The group has held this service every Veteran's Day since the end of World War I.

After the service, veterans, friends and family met at the VFW hall for a luncheon.
