HOUGHTON -- A Dollar Bay man who allegedly tried to break into an ATM in South Range was back in court Monday to face different charges.

Twenty-year-old Gordon Lewis was arraigned on a charge of larceny in a building which is a felony punishable by up to four years in prison.

Lewis is also charged with possession of a financial transaction device and attempted larceny in a public building.

The judge entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.

These charges are related to a crime he allegedly committed in the Student Development Complex on the campus of Michigan Tech where a wallet and other items were taken.

Lewis' preliminary hearing was held last week in the attempted break-in of an ATM in South Range.
