MARQUETTE -- Experts say online dating has drastically increased in the last decade. in fact, it's considered one among many places to meet singles that meet your criteria for a potential mate.
Websites like eHarmony and match.com offer match-making based on extensive surveys about your personality, values and life-long goals. Many of our Facebook viewers also commented on our page about success stories in online dating.
A 2009 independent study by Harris Interactive found that more than four percent of new marriages in the United States each year result from eHarmony.
"You have to know who you are and what it is that's important to you in a relationship because when you're picking out a partner, it isn't just about finding the best person out there, it's about finding the best person for you," said Dr. Gian Gonzaga, Senior Director of Research and Development at eHarmony.
