IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Bishop Baraga Catholic School is attempting to build a new playground, but they need your help.

Part of Clorox's Power a Bright Future campaign involves giving a grant of fifty thousand dollars to a school to replace playground equipment.

This is a nationwide search, and to win a school must receive the most votes.

“We're asking for the support of the Upper Peninsula community. We feel that it would better all of our community as playgrounds and any type of infrastructure updates can only make the U.P. a better place,” said Melissa Wentarmini, president of the BBCS Parents Association.

They've raised about $5 thousand themselves.  However the cost of a new playground would be about $50 thousand.  The current playground is outdated and the wood is treated with arsenic.
